TBF is looking for a great photo for the next cover of Billfish magazine, and it could be yours!

How do I enter?
Submit your photo of a live, healthy billfish in the water (or jumping out of the water) before Wednesday, May 6, 2009 and it could be chosen to be on the next cover of Billfish magazine. Please include a short description of when and where your photo was taken.

Emailing your submission?
You may submit low resolution images for consideration; however, we will require a final, high quality image (8.75" x 11.25" at 300 dpi or larger) for printing. Please contact Julia via email or at 954.938.0150 ext. 102 if you have any questions.
What do I get if my photo is chosen?
First Place Winner: In addition to having your photo appear on the cover of Billfish, you will receive a lightweight signature TBF jacket in your choice of yellow or black. Your name will also appear as the photographer.
Second Place Winner: The second place winner will receive a TBF T-Shirt.
Even if your photo is not chosen for First or Second place, you may still get the chance to see your photo used in Billfish magazine, on the website or in TBF promotional materials (with photo credit, of course!)
**PLEASE NOTE: Any photo of a fish that has been removed from the water will be disqualified. Not only is this harmful for the fish, but it is also illegal in the Atlantic and its surrounding waters according to Atlantic Federal Regulation 50 CFR 635.21. |
